Annual Meeting 2013

LeadingAge DC held its first conference on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the LeadingAge headquarters in Washington DC. This one day education event offered sessions on home and community based services expansion, resident transitions & fair housing and emerging service coordination issues in senior housing.

Speakers included experts Judy Chavis, Executive Vice President of American Association of Service Coordinators, David Piner, CEO of Arbor Acres United Methodist. DC officials Dr. John Thompson, Executive Director of DC Office on Aging and Mr. Harry Sewell, Executive Director and CEO of DC Housing Finance Agency.

This program offered 1.5 hours of fair housing education, 4.0 hours of NAB approved education. In addition, 7.0 hours of NASW CEs. For more information contact leadingagedc@leadingage.org.
