Join DC Villages and community partners for a special Older Americans Month celebration at Nationals Park on Thursday, May 21, featuring the New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals game and a special pregame networking event.
This unique gathering brings together older adults, families, caregivers, senior living community residents, and aging services professionals for an afternoon of celebration, connection, and community spirit in one of Washington, DC’s most iconic venues.
Designed as a joyful, intergenerational event, the celebration honors the contributions of older adults while creating opportunities to build meaningful connections and celebrate positive aging in a fun and inclusive setting.
Looking Ahead: This event is being held as a proof of concept, with the goal of establishing an annual Older Americans Month celebration at Nationals Park. If sufficient interest and participation are achieved, the Washington Nationals plan to make this an official recurring event.
