DESCRIPTION:Join us on October 8\, 2026 at  Ingleside Rock Creek for a full-day ethics training led by Michael A.  Gillette\, Ph.D.\, a prominent medical ethicist and founder of Bioethical  Services of Virginia\, Inc. This engaging session will fulfill DC licensure and  certification requirements for a range of healthcare professionals and provide  6 CEUs. The training will start with an overview of important concepts  regarding the process of making high quality ethical decisions\, followed by  discussion on an array of topic areas including\, but not limited to\, individual  autonomy and staff responsibility\, the rights of individuals vs. the needs of  the community\, and Gender\, Sex\, and Sexuality in the long term care setting.  Registration will open soon – reach out to ladc@leadingage.org with questions.
